Over 6,000 people seeking international protection have experienced homelessness, since Government paused, for the second time, accommodating all people seeking international protection in December 2023. Of those, over 3,000 remain unaccommodated.

They need our help!

How we are supporting people

Our caseworkers are meeting with people experiencing homelessness, providing them with crucial information and sending follow up emails to relevant departments on people’s behalf where needed. We have supported over 1,100 since the crisis started.

We have been advocating directly with government departments to address this crisis. Through reports, press conferences and campaigning to politicians, we are working tirelessly to ensure that people are not forgotten.

Our Independent Law Centre has also taken the government to court to compel the State to meet its obligations to accommodate all people on arrival and continues to provide legal representation to those affected.

How you can help

Our work largely depends on the generosity of individuals like yourself. Your contribution helps us provide essential information, legal representation, and keep supporting people until they are accommodated. Every donation makes a difference in the life of people forced into homelessness.

Together, we can ensure those seeking refuge in Ireland are met with compassion and dignity!
