The Information Hub provides people seeking protection, and refugees, with access to up to date and accurate information about the international protection process, as well as their rights and entitlements. The videos on our Hub are available in English and Arabic. You can also access subtitles in French and Pashtu. Please visit our Information Hub here

The Irish Refugee Council will also visit locations in Westmeath twice monthly conducting:

New Horizon Refugee Support

New Horizon Refugee Support is a charity dedicated to supporting international protection applicants living in the midlands, as they navigate the international protection system in Ireland. They provide the following supports:

  • General Information
  • Access to sporting and recreational activities, including forest experience, summer camps and a teen adventures programme
  • Education through on-line education programmes and in-person English language classes
