Be Heard: Your Voice Matters is an Erasmus+ project funded under Key Action 3 - Support for Policy Reform that provides a platform for young people seeking protection in Ireland to come together and share their experience of living in Direct Provision.

Through a series of workshops held in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Limerick and Tralee, the Irish Refugee Council's Youth Group, European Youth Migration Forum (EYMF) facilitated discussion with among young people around the issues and challenges they face within in the Direct Provision system.

The issues raised during these discussions were then presented to and discussed with policy makers and stakeholders at a final meeting in Dublin. The findings of this project were  instrumental in guiding the focus of our subsequent youth advocacy and activities.
