Created in 2019, the Asylum Support Network is a network of organisations and volunteers across Ireland assisting people in Direct Provision and the international protection process.

The Network meets on a quarterly basis to share information and discuss developments. It is also supported by an online 'Google Group' message board and Slack workspace with various channels covering different topics. Currently, more than 200 people are members of the Group, representing more than 50 organisations.

In March 2021, a training and knowledge share programme commenced for Network members. The training is supported by The Wheel's Training Links programme, which is part-funded by the National Training Fund, under the responsibility of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science.
